NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN CONSULTATION

Pre-Submission Consultation on the Draft Great Brickhill Neighbourhood Plan

You are invited to take part in the pre-submission consultation for our Neighbourhood Plan.  This is a vital opportunity for everyone who lives, works or runs a business in our community to review & comment on the draft plan before it is formally submitted for independent examination, in line with Regulation 14 of the Neighbourhood Planning Regulations 2012.

In the last 12 months, the Neighbourhood Plan Working Group has gathered your views to shape a draft that reflects our shared vision for the future. The Draft Plan sets out policies on key issues such as the location & type of new development, design standards, local services, traffic management and the environment.

There are three documents which form the Neighbourhood Plan:

  1. Pre-Submission Draft

  2. Character Assessment Part 1 & Part 2

  3. Design Code

The Character Assessment and Design Code are Appendices of the Pre-Submission Draft. All three documents are important, but the policies being put forward are included in the main Pre-Submission Draft document.

The Consultation ran from Monday 30th June to Friday 22nd August 2025 and is now closed

All comments received during this consultation will be carefully considered and may be used to amend the Draft Plan.  A summary of the feedback & our responses will be published in a Consultation statement alongside the amended plan at the next stage.
